String Fever

Subtitled "An Orchestral Dispute", String Fever humorously quotes from a wide range of popular music for strings as the ensemble strives to agree on which piece to play. Commissioned by and written for the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra in Norway it has been performed with great success throughout Scandinavia.

A fun piece for piano 4 hands - variations on "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" but quoting from as many other yuletide songs and carols as would fit into to course of the piece. (Also exists in an arrangement for The Virtual Orchestra.)

A 50 minute score for Walter Ruttmann's "Symphony of a Great City" written for piano duet, the score evokes the moods of the film as we experience a day in Berlin in 1927 beginning at dawn and ending in the early hours of the next day.

Typical Laurel and Hardy film involving a consignment of Christmas trees which aren't easy to sell in the Californian sunshine.
